Community Acupuncture is offered in a large, comforatble and serene room where other people are also getting acupuncture treatments. The cost of treatment is based on a sliding scale from -. You pay what you can, no questions asked.
What can Acupuncture do for me?
Acupuncture can help to relieve back pain, neck pain, headaches, insomnia, anxiety, digestional problems, skin conditions and auto-immune disorders including fibromylagia, just to name a few. Acupuncture helps the body reach a relaxed state and promotes circulation which encourages the healing process.
When is Community Acupuncture offered?
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am to 7pm.
Where is Community Acupuncture offered?
At the Integrative Wellness Center of Long Island at 422 Atlantic Ave. in East Rockaway, NY. The community clinic is held in the beautiful and serene common room in the back of the center.

What should I expect?
If you are new to our clinic you will be asked to fill out a short intake form in our waiting area before your treatment. You will then find a comfortable chair, couch or massage table in the community room where you will receive your acupuncture treatment. There is no time limit for acupuncture treatments. Once your needles are in you can stay as long as you would like, you let the practitioner know when you are ready to get up. There will be low music playing and others in the room enjoying their treatments along with you.
How do I prepare?
Please wear comfortable clothes that can be rolled up above your elbow and knee. Be sure to eat a light meal or snack before your treatment.
